Tooele High School Expands Hometown Partnership, Adds Box Office for Digital Ticketing

TOOELE, UT - August 18, 2026 — Tooele High School has named Hometown its official digital ticketing partner, adopting Box Office to power ticketing across its athletic events. The addition builds on Schoolfundr, Hometown's fee-free fundraising solution, which the school has used to support student programs since 2024.

That makes Hometown a single trusted partner for two of the biggest pieces of Tooele's athletic operation: selling tickets and fundraising. Athletic directors, coaches, and administrators now manage events and fundraising through connected tools built for schools, so staff spend less time juggling separate systems and more time supporting students.

Since adopting Schoolfundr in 2024, Tooele High School has run 19 fundraisers and raised more than $82,000. Since Schoolfundr is a fee-free solution, the school keeps more of every dollar so more of what it raises reaches its students and programs. Thanks to Schoolfundr, Tooele High School kept an extra $14,000+ in their pocket, avoiding the 20 percent fees charged by most traditional fundraising platforms.

Now, with Box Office, the Tooele Buffaloes give students and fans a fast, cashless way through the gate, and administrators gain real-time visibility into every event, so they can track revenue as it comes in.

“Tooele High School chose Hometown because they provide the local support we were looking for. We also wanted to align our ticketing operations with the platform we already use for our fundraising efforts,” said Cody Valdez, Athletic Director at Tooele High School. “Just as important, Hometown’s commitment to security and privacy gives us confidence that our students’ and patrons’ information is protected. We’re excited to continue growing our partnership with Hometown,”

"Tooele High School has already seen what fee-free fundraising can do for its students, and now the Buffaloes are bringing that same connected experience to ticketing," said Dennis Levene, CEO of Hometown. "We're proud to support schools like Tooele that want one trusted partner for the moments that bring their community together."
