Socorro ISD Renews Ticketing Partnership with Hometown, Adopts Schoolfundr as Official Fundraising Partner

EL PASO, TX - August 11, 2026 — Socorro Independent School District (Socorro ISD) has renewed its ticketing partnership with Hometown through 2029, keeping Box Office as the district's digital ticketing solution across every campus. The renewal builds on a partnership that began in 2022, and comes as Socorro ISD adopts Schoolfundr, Hometown's fee-free fundraising solution, as an official fundraising partner.

After four years of proven results, Socorro ISD administrators and athletic directors continue to count on Box Office to run event operations across the district. Box Office gives fans a secure, mobile-friendly, and cashless way to buy tickets so they move through the gate faster, while real-time sales reporting and integrated payment processing give administrators clear visibility into revenue and cut the manual reconciliation that follows every event.

Alongside the renewal, Socorro ISD has named Schoolfundr an official fundraising partner, with over $100,000 raised across the district. With Schoolfundr, students and coaches can launch fully digital campaigns without going door-to-door or selling physical products, administrators keep full visibility into fundraising activity across the district, and every program keeps the dollars it raises. Running Box Office and Schoolfundr through the same partner gives the district a single point of contact and a consistent experience for students, families, and supporters.

“Four years in, Hometown has earned trust from our front office to our ticket takers, so we’re excited to continue using Box Office across the district for our games and events,” said James Nunn, Athletic Director at Socorro ISD.  "That same ease and efficiency is exactly why we expanded our partnership with Hometown."

"We're proud to support Socorro ISD as they bring their ticketing and fundraising operations together with Hometown," said Dennis Levene, CEO of Hometown. "Their decision to renew and expand the partnership shows what's possible when a district consolidates tools with a team it trusts. When everything works together, administrators spend less time managing systems and more time supporting students and their families."

By selecting Hometown, the UIL's Official Digital Ticketing Sponsor, Socorro ISD joins a growing number of Texas districts embracing a connected suite of solutions to simplify operations, support student programs, and deliver better experiences for their communities.
