FRIENDSWOOD, TX - August 6, 2026 — Friendswood Independent School District (Friendswood ISD) has selected Hometown as its official digital ticketing partner, rolling out Box Office across the district's athletic programs to deliver a faster, more convenient ticketing and event management experience for fans, families, and administrators.
The move follows a successful trial run, where Friendswood ISD used Box Office for its summer camps and season tickets. Using Hometown, fans now get in with a few taps and a quick scan at the gate instead of waiting at a cash window, while the athletic department gains real-time visibility into sales and integrated payment processing that takes the reconciliation work off their plate after every event.
"Hometown is transforming the event going experience in Friendswood ISD! By providing ticket holders with a seamless, fast, and hassle-free purchasing and entry process, our community is experiencing a new level of care in ticketing,” said the Friendswood Athletics Department. “We look forward to our partnership with Hometown and the convenience it will bring to our families, fans, and community for seasons to come."
"We're proud to partner with Friendswood ISD as they bring Box Office to their athletic programs," said Dennis Levene, CEO of Hometown. "Friendswood's athletic department cares about the details that make game day better for families, and Box Office gives them a simple, reliable way to deliver on that."
By selecting Hometown, the UIL's Official Digital Ticketing Sponsor, Friendswood ISD joins a growing number of Texas districts embracing a modern, streamlined approach to managing athletic events.
