Springfield Public Schools Selects Hometown as Exclusive District-Wide Ticketing and Fundraising Provider

SPRINGFIELD, MO  June 5, 2026 — Springfield Public Schools has named Hometown its exclusive digital ticketing and fundraising provider, implementing both Box Office and Schoolfundr solutions across the district's athletic and activities programs.

Through this partnership, Springfield Public Schools gains a single trusted partner for managing events and fundraising district-wide, creating a more consistent experience for students, families, and administrators. By consolidating ticketing and fundraising with Hometown, the district simplifies operations, improves financial transparency, and delivers a better overall experience for its community.

With Box Office handling secure, mobile-friendly ticketing and Schoolfundr powering fee-free fundraising, Springfield gains a connected set of tools built for how districts actually operate. Administrators get real-time sales reporting and integrated payment processing so they can track revenue as it comes in, reduce manual reconciliation, and keep fans moving through the gate, while students and programs keep more of every dollar they raise.

“Our goal is to provide the best possible experience for our students, families, and community while ensuring financial transparency and security across our programs,” said Josh Scott, District Athletic & Activities Director at Springfield Public Schools.

“Moving exclusively to Hometown for both ticketing and fundraising allows us to streamline operations, simplify training for our schools, and deliver a consistent experience district-wide. Having Box Office and Schoolfundr under one platform gives us confidence that we’re building a stronger foundation for our activities programs long term."

“We’re excited to partner with Springfield Public Schools as they bring both ticketing and fundraising together under one platform,” said Dennis Levene, CEO of Hometown. “By combining Box Office and Schoolfundr, districts can simplify operations and create a more connected, efficient experience for their communities.”

By choosing Hometown as its partner for both ticketing and fundraising, Springfield Public Schools joins a number of Missouri districts taking a strategic step toward modernizing its operations and delivering a consistent, digital-first experience across all schools and events.
