State schools score BIG with Hometown

Hometown has been a game-changer for our district. With five stadiums and limited Wi-Fi at our gates, their support and tailored solutions ensure everything runs smoothly. They’ve helped us transition seamlessly from cash to online ticketing, customizing the process to fit our needs—not a one-size-fits-all approach. Their team is always available, even onsite at our games, making us feel like their top priority. If your stadium lacks internet or you need reliable support, Hometown is the way to go!

It’s not like the old days where we had to get roll tickets…Hometown takes care of the ticketing and the admin and staff have their own access to quickly make changes. We can have a playoff game and get things ready in just a couple of minutes for people to be able to buy their tickets.

The reason we use Hometown and Schoolfundr is because of their easy to use platform and exceptional customer service. We use Schoolfundr, they give more back to the students than any other platform. All three fundraisers we ran produced over 96% of what went back to the programs. Ill shoot you straight, working with Hometown and Schoolfundr has been the best desicion I've made as an Athletic Administrator.

The obvious thing I love about Homtown is the service. The staff is always very friendly, helpful and attentive. Of course, I love the products and services. Hometown meets all of our needs and when we present a new idea or transition some other service MISD Athletics provides to Hometown, they are extremely helpful and ensure the transition is successful. For example, we moved all of our summer camps to Hometown, even for our discounted camp attendees. This was a new venture for us, applying specific registration codes for each attendee to recieve the discounted price. Hometown staffers were truly excellent during this process. The camps are live and this has taken a tremendous work load off our athletic office.

Allen ISD upgraded to Hometown's Box Office from the Flex platform last summer and since then have enjoyed the Point of Sale devices that have better connectivity and have made operations smoother for Friday nights. We also have benefitted from the Custom Fields feature which has allowed us to offer more events on our site, including summer camps.

Hometown has been an amazing partner for our school. We use it for everything—from athletic events and tournaments to community events—and it’s made a huge difference in how we manage and track our ticket sales. The reporting features have been especially valuable for us on a daily basis. I’d also like to give a special shout-out to Tiffany, our Client Success Manager, whose support has been invaluable.

The switch helped our district recover lost revenue during critical seasons. The revenue generated has been reinvested in student programs, creating a positive impact throughout the district.

Hometown helped centralize how the district operates and it has been a game changer for logistics and operations.

We were doing paper ticketing before, it was very time-consuming and customers were not happy. Now we’re 75% more efficient with our time because of Hometown.
