NEDERLAND, TX - June 3, 2026 — Nederland Independent School District has selected Hometown as its exclusive digital ticketing provider, implementing Box Office across the district’s athletic programs.This partnership marks Nederland ISD’s transition to a digital approach to ticketing for students, families, and the broader community.
After hearing consistently positive feedback from schools across Texas, the Nederland athletic department chose a partner with a proven record of making event operations easier for staff and more convenient for families. Hometown Box Office replaces the district's previous ticketing provider with a solution designed specifically for K-12 athletics.
For fans, the shift means purchasing tickets from their phones and scanning in at the gate in seconds: no cash lines, no paper tickets, no waiting. For the athletic department, it means live revenue data the moment a ticket sells, automatic payment processing that eliminates end-of-night spreadsheets, and a consistent system that works the same way at every campus and every event.
“We chose Hometown Box Office because of the ease of the system and the recommendations we have received from other school districts using Hometown for ticketing,” said Scott Rich, Athletic Director at Nederland ISD.
