JACKSON, MS - May 26, 2026 - The Mid-South Association of Independent Schools (MAIS), a network of 140 independent schools serving more than 40,000 students has selected Hometown as its official digital ticketing partner, marking the association's first unified approach to digital ticketing for their championship events. The exclusive relationship will extend through the 2031 school year, supporting MAIS administrators, students, and community supporters.
Through this partnership, MAIS will implement Hometown Box Office to bring a consistent, modern event management and ticketing experience to athletic events across the association. Previously, member schools used a variety of ticketing methods, making this transition a significant step toward streamlined operations and a more cohesive experience for fans and administrators.
Box Office gives schools secure, mobile-friendly, and cashless ticketing so administrators can eliminate long entry lines and reduce cash-handling burdens. Real-time sales reporting helps athletic directors track revenue as it comes in, and integrated payment processing means fewer manual reconciliation hours at the end of every event.
"Partnering with Hometown allows us to bring a more consistent and efficient ticketing experience to our championship events," said Barrett Donahoe, Executive Director of MAIS. "Their team offers the simplicity and reliability we were looking for, while also improving the experience for our member schools and their fans across our association."
"We’re proud to become the official digital ticketing partner of MAIS," said Dennis Levene, CEO of Hometown. “MAIS member schools do an incredible job bringing their communities together through athletics and school events. We are proud to support that work with a digital ticketing platform that simplifies event management, improves the fan experience, and helps schools operate more efficiently.”
By adopting Box Office, MAIS is building a standardized, digital-first ticketing experience that supports its schools and events moving forward.
