LUBBOCK, TX – July 9, 2026 — Lubbock Independent School District (LISD) has committed to continuing its exclusive ticketing partnership with Hometown through the end of the 2028 school year, expanding Box Office beyond athletics to cover fine arts and community activities across the district. Together, Hometown and LISD have powered over 980 events and 200,000 ticket sales since 2022, and this expanded partnership ensures that success reaches every program in the district.
Hometown Box Office delivers real-time sales reporting, automated gate control, reserved seating management, and integrated payment processing. These tools reduce staffing needs and improve operational efficiency while enhancing the experience for fans and families at every event.
"We started with athletics when we first implemented Hometown and saw immediate results: faster gates, cleaner reporting, less stress on event-night staff," said Mike Meeks, Executive Director of Athletics for Lubbock ISD. "Expanding to fine arts and community activities was the obvious next step because every program in our district deserves a streamlined, modern ticketing experience"
“Lubbock ISD's decision to expand across fine arts and community activities shows what's possible when a district and its partner grow together. We’re proud to continue supporting Lubbock ISD with our Box Office solution," said Dennis Levene, CEO of Hometown. "This exclusive partnership highlights how Hometown solutions help districts take the manual work out of event management, improve engagement, and create memorable experiences for their communities."
