CHANDLER, AZ - September 1, 2026 — Chandler Unified Public Schools has named Schoolfundr, Hometown's fee-free fundraising solution, as an official fundraising partner across the district, building on a relationship that began with the Chandler School Boosters in 2024.
In that time, schools across the district have raised more than $1.1 million through Schoolfundr to support athletics, student activities, and school programs. Because Schoolfundr charges no platform fees, those programs have kept nearly $180,000 that traditional fundraising would have taken in fees, resulting in more funds staying with the students who earned it.
Schoolfundr gives schools and student groups a fully digital way to raise money through simple, mobile-friendly campaigns that launch in minutes, so coaches and sponsors can get started without going door-to-door or selling physical products. Programs keep an average of 97% of what they raise, paying only about 3% in credit card processing fees. Real-time progress tracking, transparent reporting, and secure payment processing give students, parents, and administrators full visibility into every campaign.
“CUSD is excited to partner with Schoolfundr to streamline fundraising across our schools, clubs, and athletic programs,” said Stephanie Ingersoll, Executive Director of Marketing & Communications at Chandler Unified Public Schools. “We selected Schoolfundr for its ease of use, cost-effectiveness, and financial transparency. This partnership enables our student organizations to effortlessly engage donors and maximize the dollars that go directly to student programs.”
"We're proud to deepen our partnership with Chandler Unified Public Schools and support student programs across the entire district," said Dennis Levene, CEO of Hometown. "Their decision to adopt Schoolfundr district-wide reflects the results their schools have already seen, and we're committed to helping every program keep more of what it raises."
By naming Schoolfundr its official fundraising solution district-wide, Chandler Unified Public Schools joins a growing number of districts choosing a fee-free approach that keeps more money with student programs and the communities they serve.
