Each season, the UIL Impactful Leader Scholarship recognizes graduating senior student-athletes across Texas who demonstrate leadership, perseverance, and a commitment to their teams and communities.

This scholarship for the UIL is sponsored by Schoolfundr, Hometown's fee-free fundraising solution, and the scholarship celebrates athletes who make a meaningful impact both in competition and beyond it. We are proud to recognize the outstanding student-athletes who won the scholarship for their UIL winter sport, Each recipient exemplifies the qualities of leadership, dedication, and character that define the Impactful Leader Scholarship.

Team Basketball

Cyanna Cavazos — Smithson Valley High School

Cyanna Cavazos is a dedicated student-athlete representing Smithson Valley High School in basketball. Through her commitment to her team and her performance in competition, she exemplifies the leadership, discipline, and perseverance that the UIL Impactful Leader Scholarship celebrates. Her work ethic both on and off the court reflects the spirit of student athletics, from balancing academics, teamwork, and personal growth while serving as a positive example within her school community.

Nathan McAdams — Sundown High School

Nathan McAdams represents Sundown High School as a basketball student-athlete committed to excellence both on and off the court. His dedication to his team and his program reflects the leadership and perseverance celebrated by the UIL Impactful Leader Scholarship. Through teamwork, discipline, and a strong work ethic, Nathan continues to contribute positively to his school community and athletic program.

Team Wrestling

Dakoda Gil — Austin Crockett Early College High School

Dakoda Gil competes in wrestling at Austin Crockett Early College High School, where he demonstrates strong dedication to his sport and his teammates. His commitment to growth, resilience, and teamwork reflects the qualities that the UIL Impactful Leader Scholarship aims to recognize. Julio Hernandez — Sharpstown High School

Dyson Nevels — Iowa Colony High School

Hazel Dominguez — JM Hanks High School
